never happened, just in my imagination, based on real people, I don't own them. Amanda is mine, I love that woman. The Martins are mine, too.
Warnings: underage sex, m/m sex, mention of underage prostitution and child abuse/neglect, homophobia.
Kris has been in the same foster family since he was three. He's a very happy, well adjusted child, but beginning to feel different. Adam is a troubled teen, in and out of group and foster homes and on the street, forced to do things, no child should ever have to go through.
This is the story of them. A Kradam Love Story.
This is a lot different that anything else I've written, there will be some angst. It will break your heart at times, it did mine, but bear with me, it definitely get's better and happier and eventually sexier. I have no idea how long it will be, around 100 chapters. I'll try an update once or twice a week. I hope you enjoy it. Please comment, it makes me happy.
Brotherly Love - Chapter 98
Kris had a baseball game Saturday morning and then afterwards, Adam was taking him shopping for their outfits that evening.
"Adam, you are not going to make me look ridiculous, are you?" Kris asked, terrified.
"Kris", Adam looked slightly hurt, "When have I ever made you look ridiculous, huh?"
Kris huffed, "So, what do you wear to a club like this anyway?"
"Party clothes, I guess. I want some leather pants."
"I am not wearing leather pants."
"No, I'm getting you a really skin tight pair of black jeans, how's that?"
"Hmm, Ok. You're coming to my game, right?"
"Of course, baby. I wouldn't miss it for anything."
Kris beamed; it really meant a lot to him that Adam came even though he knew that he didn't really get the whole game.
"Besides, Dani's home this weekend and she's meeting me there”, he said, excitedly.
Kris gave Adam a sideway's look.
"That's not why I'm going, baby."
"Sure, Adam", he giggled, rolling his eyes and grabbing his gear. He knew that wasn't the only reason but it made him smile.
Adam dropped Kris off at the field first and then drove to Starbucks for something sweet and caffeinated for him and Danielle.
He walked along the field up to the bleachers with his tray of drinks in hand and sat near the top so he could see Kris when he was in the dugout. He liked to watch him interact with his teammates. He was so adorable; and hot and…
“Adam”, Danielle called for the third time, making her way over to Adam.
“Oh, Hey Dani”, he stood up, giving her a big hug.
She sat down and took the cup that Adam held out for her, gazing in the direction he’d been staring.
“Oh, I see.”
“You’re watching Kris’s ass again.”
“You know me so well, Dani”, Adam chuckled.
“Mm, what is this?” She asked of the coffee drink.
“Dark Cherry Mocha”, he answered, taking a long sip of the warm liquid.
“This is amazing, Adam.”
“I know. But, I brought Caramel Macchiato just in case we didn’t like them. And, they still taste really good when they’ve cooled off, in case we did.”
Danielle giggled, “You think of everything.”
“So Ethan mentioned a scouting camp this summer. Did Kris say anything to you?”
“What’s a scouting camp?” Adam had no idea what she was talking about.
“Baseball camp with a bunch of different colleges to coach the players. And the scouts will be there also, looking at them for college recruiting. I guess he didn’t say anything?”
“He mentioned wanting to go to a couple of camps this summer, but no specifics. I guess I thought he’d come to my school.”
“Oh, he probably thinks that too, Adam. They’ll be there, too”, she assured him. “I think its several Arkansas colleges and a few out of state as well.”
“I never thought that he might want to go somewhere else. I guess I should have.”
“Adam, I didn’t mean to worry you. I’m sure that you too will figure it out.”
“Yeah, I know. I know…”
“So, let’s talk about you. How were your finals?”
“Good, I think I passed them all.”
“That’s good, Adam”, she chuckled. “What are your plans this summer?”
He told her about the part time job offer with Amanda, and being worried about Kris.
“Oh, and my parents are taking us to Disney World.”
“Wow, that’s cool. We went there when I was little.”
“You think we’re too old?”
“No, there’s a ton of stuff to do for big kids”, she laughed.
“Well, I’ve never been and can’t wait to meet Mickey.”
“I want pictures.”
“Of course; I’ll text you every day.”
The game was about to start and right on cue, Pam and Chelsey bounded up the steps with a cooler of snacks and drinks.
“Hi Mrs. Martin”, Danielle greeted her.
“Oh hi Danielle; It’s good to see you.”
“Chels, you’re back from school?”
“Yeah, got home yesterday.”
“He’s coming shortly”, Pam interrupted.
“I haven’t seen him in so long.”
“Well, he’ll be glad to see you, too.” They had been good friends in high school.
The home team walked to the outfield to get ready for the first inning. Adam stood up and whistled as Kris walked over to second base. He could see the blush forming on his boyfriend’s adorable face as he looked up at the stands and shook his head.
Adam sat down, with Danielle tugging at him. “Poor Kris.”
Ethan threw out the first pitch and it was a strike. The second pitch was a pop fly to left field.
“I wish they’d hit it to Kris”, Adam said, chewing on his nails.
“Why? It’s better to have it hit in the air and they catch it.”
“Kris would catch it.”
Dani rolled her eyes. “Adam, if it’s hit to second, most likely it’ll be a ground and harder to catch.”
“Oh”, Adam said, suddenly interested in his coffee again.
They had one out and a guy on first now, and Adam was watching Kris intently. The ball was thrown and it was hit. It flew into the air and…
“Ha, told ya”, Adam stood up he watched Kris who not only caught the fly ball in his glove, but then he threw out the guy on first base.
Everyone stood up and cheered for the double play. Ethan ran over and high-fived Kris.
Adam sat down, smugly.
The rest of the game was pretty uneventful, with only one run for each team. Finally, in the seventh inning, Ethan hit a line drive through center field, right past the glove and made it to first. Before long, the bases were loaded and Kris was at bat.
Adam sat, chewing his nails again. The two coffee’s long gone.
The first pitch was outside. “Ball”, the umpire yelled.
Then he threw a strike.
Third pitch was fouled.
The pitcher was looking around at runners trying to steal, so Kris had time for a couple of wiggles and a practice swing.
“God, I love when he does that”, Adam said to himself, but both Dani and Chelsey giggled. Brent, who’d finally arrived about the fourth inning, just shook his head.
The pitcher wound up and threw it right over the plate. Kris hit it and it sailed, right over the fence. The entire stands erupted and his teammates all ran to home plate to welcome Kris as he ran home.
“Oh my God, that was amazing.”
“Kris is really good, Adam.” He looked over at his mom who was just beaming for her baby.
“Yeah, he is.” It made Adam think about the college thing again. Did Kris really want to go to Central Arkansas University, when he could probably get into a really good school, playing like that? He put it off for the rest of the game but decided to bring it up to Kris later.
Ethan was able to shut down the next six hitters, so they game ended with a score of five to one.
When it was over, and everyone started filing out, Adam walked down towards the dugout to wait for Kris. They had to pack up, and the coach always had an after game chat, which was usually shorter when they won.
Kris walked out with his friends, and his face lit up when he saw Adam. “Hey, baby. That was incredible.”
Kris nuzzled up to Adam, not needing to say anything at that moment.
“You are amazing, Kris. Do you know that?”
He just shrugged.
Ethan patted him on the back. “Great game, Kris. See you tomorrow.”
They walked to Adam’s car, while Adam replayed the game to Kris, like he hadn’t been there. “Adam.”
“What? I want you to know that I paid attention.”
It was Adam’s turn to shrug. “So, shopping?”
Kris groaned, “Shower first.”
“Of course, baby.”
They drove home so Kris could get cleaned up and change, while Adam stayed downstairs talking to Chelsey and his mom.
“So, where are you going, tonight?”
“A drag club.”
“Oh my God, those sound like so much fun”, Chelsey piped up.
“How are you getting in?” Mom asked, concerned.
“My friend Devon works there. But don’t worry, mom. We get black X’s put on our hand, so we can’t drink.”
“I should hope not.”
“Devon really wanted us to come, so.”
“Well, behave and have fun. Take care of Kris.”
“I will, mom.”
“I know you will. So, have you thought about Amanda’s job offer?”
“Yeah, I talked to Kris, and he’s ok with it. I’ll call Amanda tomorrow.”
“What’s this about?” Chelsey asked.
A few minutes later, Kris came down the stairs all cleaned up in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with his hair damp. He looked incredible. Adam couldn’t wait to get him outside and in the car so he could ravage him. Kris saw the look on Adam’s face and knew exactly what he was thinking.
Adam forgot all about the job talk and practically pulled Kris outside. “See you later”, he yelled.
When they got outside, Adam opened the door for Kris and then ran around to his side and climbed in. “You look good enough to eat, baby”, he said as he leaned over and kissed Kris, melting him into the seat.
Adam giggled, loving his power over Kris when he kissed him.
“So, we’re going to the mall?” Kris asked.
This was Conway, and not the city. “Yeah”, Adam smiled and drove to Conway’s finest mall.
There weren’t many stores that could accommodate Adam’s fashion sense, but there were a couple.
Adam found a pair of leather pants at the Hot Topic that he couldn’t live without. And, he found a pair of super skinny black jeans for Kris.
They went to a few more stores and found shirts for both of them and belts. Adam wanted to wear his boots that he got last Christmas, and Kris chose a pair of shoes from Journey’s.
They left the mall with their purchases a few hours later and headed back home.
They were meeting Devon at the club, so Adam Googled the directions and Ron let him use the GPS from the Suburban.
“So, where is this place?” Kris asked, as they got into the car.
“I wonder what it’ll be like.”
“A drag club?”
“Gay bar. Will there be guys dancing together and stuff?”
“Yeah, Kris. And definitely stuff”, he chuckled.
Kris’s eyes widened. Adam might never have been in a gay bar before, but he’d spent enough time at the bar in Hollywood to know what goes on in back rooms. He started having doubts that he should even bring Kris here. “Um, Kris?”
“Adam, we’ll be fine. Just don’t leave me alone, ok?”
“Not even for a second, baby”, he held Kris’s hand the rest of the way to Little Rock.
Adam followed his directions and the GPS and they made it to the club around eight thirty. “I wonder if we’re too early”, Adam thought out loud.
“Text Devon”, Kris suggested.
“Good idea.” Adam pulled out his phone and texted him.
Just a few moments later, his phone buzzed. ‘That’s great. Just come up to the door and tell Scott your names. I’ll meet you right inside.’
‘Are we too early?’
‘Not at all’
Adam shrugged, “Ok, baby. Let’s go.” He gave Kris a quick peck, but Kris wasn’t ready to let him go yet and grabbed the back of Adam’s head, pushing their lips together.
“Nervous?” Adam giggled.
“No, I just like kissing you.” Kris gave a wicked smirk.
“If you’re not careful, we’ll be doing some ‘stuff’ at the club.”
They walked around to the front of the club and stopped at the entrance where there was a burly man at the door who looked like he was ready to kick someone’s ass.
“Can I see some ID?” The man asked.
“Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. We’re here to see Devon.”
The man turned around and Devon was nodding his head and waving.
“We’re underage”, Adam said, handing the guy his driver’s license while Kris fiddled for his own.
He took the Id’s and eyed them, and then stamped a big black ‘X’ on their right hands.
“Have a good time”, he said with no expression whatsoever.
Adam and Kris walked inside, immediately greeted by Devon, who ran over, hugging each of them. “I’m really glad you’re here”, he said, sincerely. “Come on, I want you to meet a couple of people.”
“Uh, ok”, Adam said, pulling Kris behind him. The bar wasn’t crowded yet, but there were several ‘regulars’ at the bar, and Devon introduced them to “Kirk”, the bartender and a couple of the waiters.
He finally led them to their table for the night and had a couple of virgin “Sex on the Beach” cocktails brought over from the bar.
“It’ll start getting busy in the next hour, right before the show.”
“Are we too early?”
“No, it’s better this way. You can figure your way around before the crowd.”
Kris looked at Adam. “Figure our way around?”
“Yeah, the dance floor, bar, bathrooms. It gets pretty packed.”
A few minutes later a really pretty woman wearing high heals came over and kissed Devon on the mouth. “Hey babe. Almost ready?”
“Yeah, I just wanted to come over and say hi.”
“Mm, I’m glad you did.”
Adam and Kris watched Devon make out with this woman and then it dawned on them.
At that moment ‘she’ turned around, “Hey Adam, Kris. Glad you two could make it. See ya soon, gurls”, and then she took off, wiggling her ass as she went, leaving a totally bewildered Adam and Kris, wondering who the hell that was.
