Kris has been in the same foster family since he was three. He's a very happy, well adjusted child, but beginning to feel different. Adam is a troubled teen, in and out of group and foster homes and on the street, forced to do things, no child should ever have to go through.

Brotherly Love - Chapter 90 Part 2
The next morning, the gang woke up early for a big breakfast before they needed to be at the dock on Lake Balboa. Mr. Martin had scheduled a tour around the lake with fishing and a stop at the other end for lunch, similar to what they’d done in previous years.
The entire group piled into the Martin’s suburban and headed over to the dock at Lake Balboa. The captain greeted them as they boarded and he handed Melanie a life jacket. She didn’t squawk at all this time.
Everyone took a seat up on the deck to watch as the boat pulled away from land. The lake was gorgeous this time of year and not too hot.
Once they were in deep water, Ron and Brent got out the fishing gear. Kris wanted to join them. “Go on, baby. I’ll be right here”, Adam coaxed.
“I want to fish, too”, Melanie exclaimed.
“Yes, please teach me, Prince Kris?” The little girl pleaded.
“I may have to watch this”, Adam mused.
“We need to ask you mother first”, Kris silenced a groan.
“Mom, mom”, Melanie ran across the deck. “Mom, can I please? Can I fish with Kris?”
“Oh! Well is it alright with Kris?”
“Yes! Thank you”, and she ran back to tell her other prince the good news.
Adam sat on the deck with a shit eating grin on his face. “What?” He responded to Kris’s glare. “I’ll help, too.”
“You better”, Kris snarled, and then softened, as Adam pecked his cheek with a soft kiss.
Fortunately, there were smaller poles on board that were suitable for children.
"Who knew they'd let children fish", Kris grumbled.
"Kris, do you remember how old you were first time we went fishing together?" Ron asked, amused.
"Um, oh...", he stammered. "So Mel, let's get you a pole and some bait."
Adam just snickered, watching his wonderful boyfriend.
"You're coming too", Kris addressed Adam.
"Ok, Prince Kris", Adam saluted him, jokingly.
Melanie got bored of fishing about ten minutes after Kris had helped her put on her bait and cast her pole into the water. “So when do the fish come?” She squealed.
“Sometimes not for a while.”
“Oh, um Adam, do you want to get something to drink with me?” She handed Kris her pole and pulled Adam towards the other end of the boat as Kris just shook his head.
Then they went down to the cabin where Pam and Chelsey were talking with Shelby. “How was fishing, baby?”
“Boring, the fish don’t come”, she pouted.
“Well, it takes time, Melanie. Here, come and sit with us for a while.”
“Um, I’m going to check on Kris if that’s alright with you ladies?”
He left before he got an answer and quickly went back on deck. “Hey baby”.
“Adam, where’s your girlfriend?” Brent snickered.
Adam chose to ignore him and put his arms around Kris instead. A few minutes later, “Adam, I’m getting a bite”, Kris said, quietly.
“That’s great”, he bellowed.
“Sorry”, Adam whispered, as Kris went to work… "Wow, look", Adam saw the fish that Kris was trying to catch nibble at his hook.
By now, Melanie had come back to watch the excitement. "Look, fish", she squealed.
"Shh, Melanie", Adam whispered, "We need to be quiet to Kris can catch the fish."
"Oh Ok", she whispered back to Adam, giggling loudly, to Kris’s glares.
The fish kept nibbling and then running off. But then all of the sudden, he got a good bite and Kris tugged on the pole. “I got it”, he hollared.
Both Adam and Melanie ran to the side of the boat to watch Kris reel it in. When it was at the end of his pole, he reached for it, yelling to his dad and Brent to help him take the Large Mouth bass off of his hook.
“Kris that was amazing”, Adam said of his talented boyfriend.
“What are you going to name him?” Melanie asked innocently.
“Yeah, aren’t you going to keep him as a pet?”
“Melanie, haven’t you ever had fish for dinner?” He asked the confused child.
“You’re going to eat him?” She replied shocked.
“Well, either that, or throw him back”, Adam offered.
“Oh, well, let’s eat him then”, Melanie decided.
After that, Kris begged Adam to take her to the other side of the boat so he could fish in peace. They ended up with four bass that were kept in a cooler. Once they docked at the end of the day, they would get the fish cleaned and gutted for them and packed on ice for the ride home.
In the afternoon, they stopped for lunch at the Last Chance Lakeside Café located on the other side of Lake Balboa. They were known for their burgers and Last Chance Grouper Sandwich.
“That sounds really good”, Kris decided on the grouper sandwich, while most of the group went with burgers and Chelsey and Pam got the Caesar salad. They sat along the deck watching the lake and talking about the fish that Kris caught.
“Hey, what about mine?” Brent complained, halfheartedly.
“Kris’s has a name”, Melanie said, like that explained everything.
“Oh, and what’s his name?” Pam asked the little girl.
“Basey”, she said, taking a bite of her cheeseburger, like everyone should have known that.
They finished their meal with dessert. Adam, Kris and Melanie got the Chocolate Confusion while the rest opted for the cheesecake.
After coffee and dessert, the group re-boarded the boat for the trip back to their side of the lake. It had been a long day, and Melanie was fast asleep on Adam’s lap.
“Those two are so sweet together”, Pam commented.
“Yeah, they really are”, Kris acknowledged.
Adam mouthed, “I love you”, and Kris melted as he always did.
When they got back to the dock, their fish had already been prepared and packaged for them. “So, fish for dinner?” Ron asked the group.
Melanie and her mom left the next day. First, the Martin kids took her down to the beach in the morning and made another sand castle and then said their goodbyes to their friend.
“Finally, I have my boyfriend all to myself”, Kris groaned, as they walked back into the house.
“Aw, poor baby”, Adam giggled. "So, what do you want to do?"
Kris smirked, he knew what he'd like to do, but that wasn't possible at the moment.
"Why don't we go swimming until lunch?" Adam suggested.
"Ok", Kris conceded. It wasn't nearly as fun as what he’d had in mind, but there were some things they could do in the water.
"I know what you're thinking, bad boy."
Kris tried to look innocent.
"Mm, come on."
They walked down to the water holding hands. Fortunately, they were alone. They went out waist deep and then stopped. Adam looked around to make sure there was no one else around and then he pulled Kris into him and kissed him.
“I missed you.”
“Mm, me too, baby.”
“They stayed like that, kissing until they heard Chelsey running towards them shouting their names.
“Cockblocker”, Kris said under his breath.
“I’ll make it up to you later”, Adam giggled.
After swimming, Chelsey suggested that they all rent bikes and ride though the village. “That’s a great idea. “We can see some of the smaller lakes around the village”, Pam offered.
They found the bike rental place just a couple of blocks from their house and rented six bikes for the day. They were given a bike/walking trail brochure that listed over twenty miles of trails throughout the village. They opted for the three and a half mile trail around Lake Desoto, but passed a few of the smaller lakes along the way and passed some great places for fishing and picnics.
They were exhausted after their ride and opted for take out that night for dinner. There was a Chinese restaurant that delivered in the village.
They took turns getting showers and met downstairs in the kitchen when their food arrived. After dinner, Pam put a movie in and everyone settled in for the night. Both Adam and Kris were asleep on the couch before the movie was half way over. They woke up briefly after it was finished and climbed the stairs to their room. They didn’t even bother with changing their clothes. They just fell into bed, holding each other.
The family had such a good time riding around Lake Desoto the day before that they decided to go back the next day. There was a swimming beach and picnic areas, and a place to rent paddle boats. They had packed a huge picnic for lunch and spent the entire day at the lake.
They rented three paddle boats at the marina and paddled their way around the second largest lake in the village. Brent and Chelsey decided to make it a race and Kris and Adam had to paddle as fast as they could to keep up with their siblings; laughing and splashing along the way to the deep part of the lake. Ron and Pam enjoyed their kids having so much fun, but opted to stay back and paddle to a much own slower pace.
They turned in their boats after two hours and went swimming one last time before getting back in the car. “My legs are killing me”, Chelsey complained.
“Preaching to the choir Chels”, Adam rubbed his own sore calves.
“So, who’s up for miniature golf?” Pam jokingly asked the tired gang.
A chorus of groans came from the back of the suburban, followed by “OK’s”.
“Really?”, she chuckled. Ok, Dinner first”
Ron drove to a diner in the village that served really good family style meals. “I’m in the mood for some meatloaf”, he said, pulling into the packed parking lot.
“Looks like the whole village had the same idea”, Pam noticed, as Ron looked for a parking space and found one near the back.
The family walked in and Ron went up to the counter to give their name. “How long of a wait?” He asked, looking around.
“Oh, about twenty minutes, sir”, replied the perky hostess.
“That’s not too bad, Ron.”
They looked over the menu while waiting for their turn. By the time they were seated, everyone had already decided on their meal.
“Good evening”, welcomed the waitress. “May I tell you about the specials for today?”
Everyone nodded, and as she explained the additional items; the looks on Kris and Brent’s faces indicating that they’d both changed their minds.
The waitress brought out their drinks and then took their orders; Kris changing his mind three times.
Soon, the waitress brought their meal. Chelsey had the Salmon Caesar Salad and Pam, the blackened Tuna while Ron finally got his meatloaf and Brent couldn’t pass up on the Prime Rib special. Adam’s opted for the shrimp scampi and angel hair pasta and Kris finally decided on the crispy Crab Cakes. “Looks incredible”
The family was quiet through their meal, mostly from exhaustion; and the food really was excellent. Afterwards, they parked the car at the beach house and walked to the miniature golf course to let everyone walk off their dinner before playing a full round and then heading back home for the night. After a very busy day, everyone was exhausted. Pam didn’t even suggest watching a movie; instead everyone went upstairs to bed.
Adam and Kris were in their room getting into their pajamas. “I wish we were alone”, he told Adam. “I want you.”
Adam raised his eyebrows at Kris while brushing his teeth. “Well, I did promise I’d make it up to you.”
“You did”, Kris remembered.
“Come here, baby.”
“Adam, I don’t know.”
“You’ll just have to be very, very quiet”, he instructed as he locked the door to their room. Then he wrapped his arms around Kris, laying him gently on the bed, covering him with his own body and then kissed him; not rough, but not gently, either. Kris moaned into the kiss and Adam had to remind him to be quiet. “Shh, baby.”
Adam reached for the lube and covered them with their blankets, just in case… Adam pulled down Kris’s sleep pants along with his own;he popped the cap of the lube, and then gently pushed a finger inside of Kris, keeping his lips on Kris’s. As soon as he had three fingers inside of him and Kris was pushing back and silently begging for more, Adam entered him. It took everything not to moan loudly.
“You’re so beautiful, Kris”, Adam whispered in his ear, plunging his cock deep into Kris’s hole. “Stay quiet for me, baby.”
Kris nodded, letting Adam fuck him while he wrapped his legs around Adam’s waist, guiding him in. “That’s it, Kris.”
“Fuck, Adam”, he whispered as he got closer.”
“I know, shhh.” He pulled Kris’s legs up for better access and reached for his cock, and fucked him through his orgasm. Kris lie back, eyes blown, getting his assed pumped hard and fast. He looked sinful. “God, you look so hot like that, Kris.”
Adam clenched and then took Kris’s lips again, kissing him through his own orgasm. “Incredible.”
“Fuck! That was so hot.”
Adam jumped up to grab a washcloth from their bathroom and then joined Kris under the covers, cleaning them both up first. Then, Adam dressed Kris first, and then himself. “I love you, Kris”, he whispered, pulling his boyfriend close.
Kris cuddled Adam, his head resting on Adam’s shoulder. “I love you, too.”
A few days later, it was finally time to leave the beach house. They had couple of days and a lot of laundry to do before the older kids left again for school.
On the drive home, Adam got a text. Kris heard the phone buzz, as his head was right near Adam’s pocket. “Who’s that?” He asked, sitting up.
Adam picked up his phone and looked at the name and chuckled, handing Kris the phone. ‘Devon: Guess who I’ve been hanging out with?’
Kris looked confused, “Brad?” He wondered aloud.
Adam shook his head, “No, I don’t think so.” He texted back, already knowing the answer to that: ‘Who?’
A few moments later, in all caps, ‘Devon: KENNY’.
Adam just shook his head. “I hope he knows what he’s doing.”
